You haven’t really won, till you’ve won at the Sydney Opera House.
And so it was, for Paul Andersen and myself – ensconced in Jørn Utzon’s architectural masterpiece – when a panel of industry luminaries, including SBS royalty, Margaret Pomeranz, chose our entry as the winner of the GetUp! Oz In 30 Seconds TVC competition.
From the moment the result was announced, we were whisked off for an impromptu interview, stage side with the ABC.
Following suit, the next day was wall to wall interviews and strategy meetings, the highlight being an interview that we did on Radio National with Jon Faine.
On our return to Melbourne we were invited into the SBS studios at Fed Square for an interview on their radio show, Alchemy.
We even had our win written up in Rolling Stone magazine!
