Designing the Celluloid Soup event programme represented a fantastic opportunity to extend the visual language that I had already developed for the festival poster.
This meant further extrapolating the graphic elements that has been inspired by highway signage, so as to create custom imagery for the programme.
As the internal pages were printed in black and white, I also had to work creatively to make the most out of this limited palette, using the mid-grey tones for accented elements that sat behind the black body copy.
As always, it was very exciting to see the piles of printed programmes sitting at the counter of the Astor Cinema ahead of the gala screening.
